National estate agency network Sequence UK has appointed Paul Hitchins to the role of Mortgage Services New Build Sales Director, effective immediately. Working closely with both the new homes and mortgage services teams, Paul will be charged with enhancing the business’ new build mortgage services proposition for both developers and their customers.
Paul, who has over 20 years’ experience in the property industry and with Sequence, having worked his way up from his first role in the business as a trainee mortgage advisor for local brand Barnard Marcus, will be looking to amplify the offering to housebuilders and housing associations, ensuring a bespoke service of the highest standard and the availability of subject matter experts on initiatives such as Help to Buy and Shared Ownership to aid smooth and effective customer experiences.
“The new build market is exciting and challenging with many ‘customers’ – the developer, the lenders, the new homes site staff, right through to the buyers – and I will be looking to grow and develop our new build mortgage advisor team to ensure we’re offering a best in class service and specialist knowledge to all these groups,” says Paul.
Sequence’s service includes everything from mortgage advisors being available at the early planning stages of the development and dealing with pre-launch enquiries, through to access to an online referral system that connects customers with a dedicated new homes mortgage broker within minutes and a developer portal that allows developers to access key updates on their sites 365 days a year.
