Sequence estate agency is thrilled to have helped raise £40,000 for Mind in 2021. This rounds off a successful first year of supporting the mental health charity, which Sequence's parent company, Connells Group, first partnered with at the beginning of 2021.
Sequence colleagues took part in a number of fundraising initiatives over the course the year, including a virtual rowing event, the London Marathon and Mind’s own ‘Move for Mind’ campaign. Parent company Connells Group also hosted its first ‘10 Miles For Mind’ day, which saw 80 colleagues walk ten miles between two of its head office locations and raised in excess of £12,000 for the cause.
“Mind’s services have been essential to so many over the past few years and are now more in demand than ever”, says David Plumtree, Allen & Harris's parent company, Connells Group's Estate Agency Chief Executive. “We are therefore honoured to be able to contribute such a significant amount towards Mind’s support services, which will benefit so many people across the UK. We’re very proud of this achievement and hope for more fundraising success in the year ahead.”
Mind is the leading mental health charity in England and Wales, providing advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. The charity campaigns to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding, and provide support directly to those who need it most.
